KOOTH PILOT PROGRAM

KOOTH LOGO

Wyoming Area is very excited to share that Wyoming Area School District is taking part in a Pilot program with Kooth to provide our students with access to a personalized, digital mental health and wellbeing platform!

Kooth’s sole purpose is to create easy to access online mental health services that work alongside users to provide compassionate and effective support.  Students can access support for any issue they may be experiencing through peer-to-peer support, self-help tools and counseling sessions.  This includes articles and personal experiences from users and the Kooth team, discussion boards and daily journals.  All materials on Kooth have been pre-moderated to ensure users are safe online.

This program is being funded by the Pennsylvania General Assembly and will be available to students who are 11 to 18 years of age, beginning on November 7th, 2022 and subject to appropriate parental consent. Once live, students will be able to register at www.kooth.com

There is an Informational Webinar and F A Q Session for Parents and Guardians on November 2nd at 5:30 pm and the link is posted below along with a promotional video.
