Course Description
The physical education program at Wyoming Area Middle School is designed
to meet the physical, mental, and social needs of the whole child. Our primary
objection is to improve physical fitness, increase knowledge and skills of
lifetime sports and develop awareness of health practices. II.
Major Learning Goals: A.)
To
participate in activities that are appropriate for maintaining fitness and
wellness. B.)
To
encourage good sportsmanship as a spectator and participant. C.)
To foster
an interest in intramurals and extra-curricular activities to improve skills. D.)
To
participate in games and sports which require strategies, rules, and
competencies. III.
