SPECIAL CLASSROOM  HAPPENINGS

 

CLASS PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT  -  Students sign in daily and lead the class in daily routine activities.

PRO- SOCIAL  SKILLS CHAIN  - Individual links are earned for units of respect, cooperation, kindness, and responsibility.

READING - For the next few weeks, we will be enjoying the theme Silly Stories.  We will be doing plenty of giggling as we read stories about a dragon that shops, a  cool pig from Alaska, and farm animals.

WELCOME BACK FUN - To help our class get to know each other, the students write and illustrate an All About Me story.  We share our stories with the class and then make a class book to be added to our classroom library.

COLLECTING - Our class is collecting General Mills Box tops and Campbell soup labels for our PTO school sponsored activities.

 OUR SCHOOL PLEDGE   I pledge today to do my best

                                          in reading, math, and all the rest.

                                          I promise to obey the rules

                                          in my class and in the school.

                                          I'll respect myself and others too,

                                          I'll expect the best in all I do.

                                          I am here to learn all I can,

                                          to try my best and be all I am.
